Intro to AR-15 Class 6/22/2019

COURSE DESCRIPTION-4 Hour Course

This course is for the AR style rifle /carbine. This is an introductory class that will focus on the fundamentals of shooting, weapons handling, and marksmanship. This course takes you from the basic steps of cleaning and maintaining your rifle to shooting it safely.   You will be taught how to break your firearm down, clean it, re-assemble it and how to conduct a proper function check. You will be instructed on proper loading/unloading techniques as well as shooting positions, sight alignment and sight picture. You will learn how to “zero” your firearm and will be guided in selecting slings, optics and iron sights.

COURSE REQUIREMENTS

Supplies Needed (can be rented through CHT): If Rented:

• Minimum of 200 rounds of Ammunition            * Price varies by caliber. Must be purchased from CHT if renting a CHT firearm
• Eye & Ear Protection   $2 eye & $3 ear

**Firearm rental is NOT an option. You MUST bring your own AR rifle.
