Crosshairs Texas Welcomes Melinda Lowery
Crosshairs Texas is proud to welcome Melinda Lowery to our training team as our exclusive Ladies Only Firearms Instructor.
Melinda brings more than 30 years of law enforcement, public safety, professional instruction, and leadership experience to the women of Central Texas. She began her career with the Lampasas Police Department before joining the Texas Department of Public Safety, where she served for 28 years and retired as a Lieutenant in the Criminal Investigations Division.
Today, Melinda continues her commitment to public safety through professional firearms instruction, private security training, competitive shooting, instructor development, and leadership within the shooting sports community.
Her combination of operational experience, technical expertise, and patient coaching style creates a rare opportunity for women seeking serious firearms education in a supportive, respectful, and pressure-free environment.

Melinda’s Ladies Only classes are designed for women of all skill levels, from first-time firearm owners to experienced shooters seeking additional technical instruction.
