This is an introductory course for youth shooters including classroom and range time with semi-automatic pistols. The range portion of course will be supervised by a Range Safety Officer, the instructor, and the parent(s) of the student. The firearms will be .22 LR caliber so as not to discourage the new shooters with a large amount of recoil. Students learn rules for safe firearm handling, pistol parts and operation, ammunition, shooting fundamentals, range rules, two handed standing positions and technique for improved skill level with accuracy.  This course is for age 12-16 with a total run time of 3 hours.

**A parent or guardian is required to attend with the student (at no additional cost).

**Ammunition must be purchased in advance so arrive early enough to check in and purchase needed materials.

You are required to give a 48-hour notice if you are unable to attend the course for which you have registered.  If you fail to give this notice or you no-call/no-show to the class, you will not receive a refund. You may register for another class at full price. If you need to reschedule your course, this also must be done with a minimum of 48 hours’ notice to avoid losing your class fee. You may reschedule or receive a refund if you contact us at least 48 hours before the class.
