This class is for those who have completed the classroom portion and still need to complete the shooting portion to obtain their LTC.  The LTC/CHL proficiency test is comprised of three stages of fire.  The shooting test is timed and the instructor uses a “Shot-Timer”.  Included in this class is the LTC Range Safety, sights and an equipment check and briefing.

The target is a life size human silhouette with the main scoring area (5 ring) being roughly 12 inches by 18 inches.  Time allowed for shot strings is from 1 ½ seconds per shot to 3 seconds per shot, more time allowed for longer distances. A passing score is at least 70% of the maximum possible.  Students will receive a detailed list of what to bring to class after registering for their class.
