Class Description – CCW 4 -Basic Defensive Pistol Skills (2 hours)

SThis class is part of a 24-hour workshop. Students will be able to continue their training and achieve national recognition as well as cutting edge firearm and defensive skills right here in Bastrop TX. Upon completion of this class, students will be able to successfully identify Elements of a Good Shooting Position and explain how they can change in a defensive encounter including defensive marksmanship & accuracy. Cover & Concealment will be defined and students will travel to our off-sight range to demonstrate basic pistol accuracy differences with their concealed handguns.

 Identify the Fundamentals of Marksmanship.
 Identify Elements of a Good Shooting Position and explain how they can change in a defensive encounter.
 Explain and demonstrate the fundamentals of defensive marksmanship.
 Explain defensive accuracy.
 Explain the differences between cover and concealment, and identify examples of each.
 Identify the Fundamentals of Marksmanship. Evening classes will be using training aids, dummy pistols & dummy ammo, which includes drive fire practice.
